How to use

Preparation

Prior to varnishing, it is recommended that the wood be dry (relative humidity <15%), sanded and clean of substances that may damage the varnish film. We recommend applying, before varnishing, 1 or 2 coats of XYLAZEL FONDO to give effective protection against moisture, insects and fungi that can damage and damage the wood.

New wood

Apply two well-loaded undiluted hands, being recommended to sand between coats to achieve better adhesion and finish.

Woods already varnished

A) Varnish in good condition: Clean and sand the surface, subsequently applying 1 or 2 coats of XYLAZEL WOOD FLOOR VARNISH. B) Varnish in poor condition: Remove loose varnish (flaking) from the entire surface and proceed to varnish as if it were new wood. XYLAZEL VARNISH WOOD FLOORS has excellent adhesion, but very hard old varnishes can cause lack of adhesion. Make compatibility tests with old varnishes and if there is no adhesion remove the entire old layer. On floors that have been waxed or cleaned with brightener, remove the remains with solvent before applying XYLAZEL VARNISHWOODEN FLOORS.

Consumption

62 - 74 mL / m2 approximately, under normal conditions, undiluted and according to type of wood. We recommend 2 or 3 hands of the product.

Application p>

XYLAZEL BARNIZ WOOD FLOORS is presented ready for use. It can be applied by brush, brush, roller, airless and gun. Shake and stir the contents of the container well. Apply with a flat brush in the direction of wood grain. Once dry, approximately after 18 hours, give the 2nd hand.
