Description

Single-component, solvent-free coating for roof waterproofing and repair of areas with cracks or tendencies to form. Walkable or passable in a non-continuous way except for heavy traffic. It adapts and adheres to the materials used in construction, obtaining an elastic and UV-resistant waterproof barrier. Contains anti-mold and greenish preservative to prevent growth on painted surfaces. Alkali resistant. Ideal for the protection and renovation of all types of roofs subjected to demanding climatic conditions due to its high durability, resistance and elasticity. How to use

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Stir well in the container manually or with a low speed stirrer. Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and consistent. Do not apply on hot surfaces or under strong wind. A good diagnosis and preparation of the support are essential to obtain the best results.

VERY IMPORTANT ATTENTION. DO NOT APPLY:

2 At temperatures below 7º C. With relative humidity greater than or equal to 80%. With rain forecast in the next hours. If these instructions are not followed, the result of the application may not be satisfactory. Industrias TITAN, S. A. U. will not accept any claim that has not taken into account these instructions. If there are cracks greater than 1 m / m, it is advisable to cover them previously, and / or reinforce them with mesh tape placed between the layers of the I12 Membrane with Polyurethane that is applied. To ensure the tightness of horizontal terraces, it is convenient to follow the application of the I12 Membrane with Polyurethane, up to a certain height of the vertical walls, reinforcing if necessary the angle of union of the two surfaces. NOT PREPARED SURFACES:

New concrete should be allowed to dry for at least 28 days. In mineral or cementitious substrates, the surface grout must be removed and the pore must be opened. Check humidity, trapped air and consistency. Temperature + 8ºC - + 35ºC RH <6% moisture content Clean, removing loose residues, smooth and level slopes or unevenness of the surface to be painted, to avoid possible puddles. Substrate primer: Cementitious substrates, brick, ceramic tile (unglazed): apply a diluted layer with 10% water (consumption approx. 0.4 kg / m²). Let dry for 2 hours. Application: 1º.- Apply on a 1 m² surface a 1st layer (approx. 0.7 kg / m²). 2º.- Apply the mesh while the 1st layer is fresh. Overlap the rolls a minimum of 5 cm, 3rd.- Apply a 2nd layer on the mesh (approx. 0.7 kg / m²) Repeat steps 1 - 3 until the total surface of the roof is completed. 4º.- When the roof is dry, finish the waterproofing with 1 or 2 layers of I12 Polyurethane Membrane according to the desired durability. (0.7 kg / m² per coat) 8 year warranty: apply 3 coats undiluted. Thickness approx. 0.8 mm (total consumption: 2.1 kg / m²) 10 years guarantee: apply 1 undiluted layer + mesh + 2 undiluted layers. Thickness 0.8mm. (total consumption: 2.1 kg / m²) 12 years warranty: apply 1 undiluted layer + mesh + 3 undiluted layers. Thickness 1.0mm. (total consumption: 2.8 kg / m²)

MAINTENANCE OF SURFACES ALREADY PAINTED IN GOOD CONDITION:

Apply the paint directly after washing or brushing, diluting the first layer with 10% water, then applying the second layer as is.

MAINTENANCE SURFACES ALREADY PAINTED IN POOR CONDITION:

Completely remove old paints and proceed as on unprepared surfaces.
