Description

Satin water-based varnish with high resistance to weathering without loss of shine. Hard and flexible. Contains ultraviolet filters. With anti-mold preservative.

How to use

General recommendations

Stir well in the container. Surfaces must be smooth (sanded), degreased, clean and dry. 2 Apply in thin coats and sand lightly between coats. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 12% in hard wood and 15% in softwood. Do not varnish in full sun or with dew.

Unprepared surfaces

Sand the wood in the grain direction, thoroughly clean, remove resins or resin secretions and kill sharp edges. Old unvarnished wood: it is essential to completely remove the dry and gray surface by sanding or brushing thoroughly until the wood in good condition is exposed.

For a better protection of the wood to the outside, apply Titanxyl Total Protection Ultra or Titanxyl Lasur Ultra Fund, finishing with 2 or 3 layers of Ecological Water Varnish.

Resinous and tropical woods: can prevent drying. Thoroughly degrease with TITAN Yate Thinner to remove resin. Apply a first coat on a reduced surface and observe. If the resin exudation persists, consult the Technical Service, but finish with 2 - 3 layers of Ecological Water Varnish.

The tonality, intensity of the final color depend on the type, color and thickness of the wood as well as the number of layers. If the desired color has been achieved with the 1st coat, finish with colorless.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in good condition

Lightly sand, remove the generated dust and apply 1 or 2 coats depending on the state of the surface. When old varnishes are catalyzed or polyurethane, it is essential to sand the entire surface thoroughly, to remove them completely.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in poor condition

Remove completely and proceed as on unprepared surfaces.
