Description

Ready-to-use water-based TP08 wood protector for new and used wood for use class 1, that is, wood indoors not exposed to the elements or humidity.

Preventive protection against woodworm and termites. Curative against woodworm.

How to use

General recommendations

The product is ready to use and must not be diluted. Stir well in the container.

The moisture content of the wood must not exceed 15%.

Close the container tightly afteruse. Before applying Titanxyl Water Killer, protect the plastic materials.

The wood to be treated must be clean, dry, free of any rot at the time of treatment and free of any layer of varnish or paint to facilitate the penetration of the Titanxyl Waterborne Killer.

Painted or varnished wood: remove the existing layers completely with TITAN Paint Remover Plus and proceed as with unprepared surfaces, after thoroughly cleaning the paint remover remains with solvents.

The product should only be applied once every 5 years, if necessary.

Unprepared surfaces

Old unvarnished wood: it is essential to completely remove the dry and gray surface by sanding or stabbing thoroughly until the wood is exposed in good condition. Then proceed to the treatment and finish with the appropriate varnish or paint.

Resinous and tropical woods: can prevent drying. Wash thoroughly with TITAN Yate Thinner to remove resin. Apply a first coat on a small area and observe. If the resin exudation persists, consult the technical service, otherwise apply the treatment and finish with the appropriate varnish or paint.

Wood attacked by woodworm: apply by inejection until saturation, through the exit holes of the woodworm or through the holes made for this purpose.

Wood not attacked by woodworm: for preventive effect, apply Titanxyl Water Killer with a brush.

Always finish with a suitable varnish or paint.

Precautions

Before using the product, carefully read the instructions on the package. For more information consult Safety Data Sheet. Store the containers tightly closed away from sources of heat and temperatures below zero. Shelf life: 36 months in unopened original container.

Waste management: Follow local legal provisions. Help protect the environment, do not put waste down the drain, put it in the nearest recycling center. Calculate the amount of product you will need and thus avoid waste and extra costs. Keep the excess product well stored for a new use.

Security period: 24 hours. It will never be less than the time it takes to fix the product.
