How to use
General recommendations:
Stir well in the container, preferably by mechanical process. Surfaces to be painted must be properly primed, clean, dry and consistent. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes before using it to promote the elimination of air. If the maximum recoating limit is exceeded, to ensure adhesion between coats, a soft blasting (Sand Sweeping) must be carried out, until a slight roughness is conferred on the primed surface.
Unprepared surfaces:
Steel: apply SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer, HB SXB 210 High Thickness Epoxy Primer or HB SXB 220 Rich Epoxy Primer according to specifications, respecting the intervals of repainted. Galvanized: If it does not require certification according to UNE EN ISO 12944, apply directly on properly prepared galvanized steel, eliminating salts and with a slight nuance of the surface. If you require certification, apply SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer or HB SXB 210 High Thickness Epoxy Primer according to the selected scheme. In all cases: apply the finishing coats according to the selected scheme (see recommended thickness). Other supports: Consult.
Maintenance of already painted surfaces in good condition:
In case of repainting on well adhered systems, cleaning of fats, oils and dirt (fresh water under pressure, solvent, etc.) and then letting it dry, apply one or two coats of Polyurethane Multi-surface Satin Enamel EXB 500 according to needs.
Maintenance of already painted surfaces in poor condition:
In the case of poorly adhered systems, and / or with the presence of rust, remove by abrasive blasting to grade Sa2½ of the ISO 8501-1 standard or manual or mechanical cleaning to grade ST3 of the same standard. Next, patch with SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer preferably with a brush and then apply sufficient coats of Satin Multi-surface Polyurethane Enamel EXB 500, according to requirements p>
Precautions
Before using the product, carefully read the instructions on the package. For more information, consult the Safety Data Sheet. Store the containers tightly closed away from sources of heat and temperatures below zero. Shelf life: 36 months in unopened original container. Waste management: Follow local legal provisions. Help protect the environment, do not throw waste down the drain, put it in the nearest recycling center. Calculate the amount of product you will need to avoid waste and cost overruns. Keep the excess product well stored for a new use. Paint reuse can effectively minimize environmental effects on the life cycle of products.
