Top quality coating, based on special resins and high solidity pigments.
recommended uses
Suitable as a finishing coat in systems where maximum performance is required in a painting system and high physical and chemical resistance is needed, given its excellent decorative and protective properties, its application is recommended on supports such as: concrete towers, pillars, stonework, metal structures and polyester pools. Recommended for those applications in which safety and low odor are required, such as laboratories, offices... It can be used as a final coat in epoxy or polyurethane resin systems.
Technical Properties
- Highly resistant to impact, abrasion and corrosivity in industrial environments with high chemical aggressiveness.
- Excellent covering power and elasticity.
- Very good adhesion on slightly porous supports.
- Excellent resistance to solar radiation and atmospheric agents.
- Non-slip surface.
- Facilitates the process of cleaning and maintenance of the support.
- High resistance to ultraviolet radiation.
- Waterproofing power.
- Good fire retardant properties. Non-poisonous.
Surface Preparation
Remove component A diluted with water in its container and once perfectly homogenized, add component B slowly (in the indicated proportions), while mechanically stirring at low speed, to avoid the formation of air bubbles. Shake for 2 minutes for its perfect homogenization. After shaking, apply the product directly, taking into account the short life of the product mixture, it is recommended to prepare the appropriate and consumable quantity for each section to be applied. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or with ambient humidity above 80%.
Previous preparation: The surfaces must be completely dry, degreased, deoxidized and free of dust. Whenever there is previous paint on the support to be treated, verify that it is in good condition and adhered correctly. Otherwise, remove the elements with poor adherence.
New surfaces: Eliminate efflorescence and remains of foreign products and substances (grease, dust, oil and/or derivatives). It is essential to regulate the porosity of the support so that it is adequate enough to favor the penetration and anchorage of the paint, toTo this end, the best results are obtained through mechanical methods, since in addition to regulating the porosity of the support, they eliminate any type of unwanted substance or foreign body that could interfere with the process. If it is not possible to carry out a mechanical treatment, you should at least proceed with the chemical treatment, leaving it to dry for the recommended time and proceeding to the subsequent painting. It is recommended to apply a first coat of primer before proceeding to paint the surface to improve the adherence of the support to be treated and provide maximum protection. In the case of this product, the same one can be used more diluted (20%) without the need of using a separate product to perform the priming function.
Painted surfaces: Remove grease, oil and dirt stains with solvent. Remove the layers of paint that are not perfectly adhered and proceed as indicated in the case of new or unpainted surfaces. If the support to be treated is in poor condition or peeling, the poorly adhered remains must be removed by chemical or mechanical stripping. It is recommended to check the compatibility of the product on the previous paint and sand the entire surface of the previous paint to improve and facilitate adhesion. For painting other materials or specific situations not included in this technical sheet, consult our Technical Department.
restauration and maintenance: Eliminate old paints in poor condition or poorly adhered, using traditional mechanical methods. Check (by test) that the adhesion between well-anchored old paints and the new paints is correct and does not deteriorate the adhesion of the old paints on the substrate. Check the compatibility/incompatibility of the product to be applied with the old paint in good condition to avoid reactions between them that result in modifications of its final qualities. Follow the usual procedure indicated for new supports.
