How to use
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Stir well in the container, preferably by mechanical process. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes before using it to favor the elimination of air. The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and consistent. In the painting process, make the splices within 15 minutes. Do not step on until after 24 hours. For transit of light loads, allow a minimum of 48 hours to pass.
Concrete pools: The results of painting the pool are directly related to the preparation of the surface, as well as its construction. The pool must be waterproofed on the outside, with a lining between the pool walls and the surrounding earth.
New concrete pools: After construction, do not paint for at least 2 months. Treat the surface with a mixture of 1 part hydrochloric acid (salfumán) and 3 - 4 parts water. Wash with plenty of fresh water under pressure. Surface preparation with abrasive sandblasting is also possible to roughen the concrete. Allow to dry thoroughly for at least 48 hours and apply a thin coat of SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer with 10% DX 810 Epoxy Solvent; once dry, apply two layers of Poliuretyear Soils PXB 730.
Old unpainted pools: Wash with a mixture of 1 kg of trisodium phosphate with 10 liters of water or with a 5% solution of powdered detergent in water, eliminating mold and grease by rubbing with an esparto brush; rinse with plenty of pressurized fresh water and proceed as in new pools.
Polyester fiber pools: Sand and degrease. Apply 1 coat of SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer. After 18-24 hours, finish with two coats of PXB 730 Polyurethane Floors. In any case, DO NOT fill the pool before 14 days have elapsed from the end of the PUR application. For non-slip finishes, it must be sprinkled to saturation, on the second layer of Polyurethane Floors PXB 730, aggregate of 0.7-0.9 mm. After 24 hours, the remains of non-adhered aggregate will be removed and a final layer of Polyurethane Floors PXB 730 will be finished.
MAINTENANCE OF ALREADY PAINTED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION
It is only possible to repaint over two-component schemes. If the schemes applied are of one component, pickling should be carried out and proceed as unprepared surfaces. If the scheme is two-component (Epoxy or polyurethane), thoroughly clean all residues of grease or oil using a pressurized fresh water jet or solvent. It is necessary to roughen the surface to promote adherence. apply handsPolyurethane Floors PXB 730, according to specifications.
MAINTENANCE OF SURFACES ALREADY PAINTED IN POOR CONDITION
In the case of poorly adhered systems, it will be necessary to clean up by scratching. Then patch with the specified Epoxy Primer, preferably by brush. Finish according to selected scheme. If the poorly adhered surface is extensive, proceed as for unprepared surfaces.
