Curative and preventive protector to eliminate woodworm . Xylazel Carcomas is formulated with a solvent base, being colorless and de-flavored.

Applications

Xylazel Woodworms Plus is used for the preventive protective treatment of wood against woodworms and termites and as a curative treatment against woodworms indoors (class 1 wood). Use for the general public and professionals indoors for furniture or other wooden objects such as doors and windows that do not suppose a surface greater than 3 m2.

It is also used as a curative treatment in dry and humid interiors (wood of use class 1 and 2) in all types of wood, solid or plywood, old or new.

For the curative treatment by injection against small woodworm in furniture and other wooden objects of similar size, the product is also presented in packages with a device in the form of a cannula.

Ideal for art objects, sculptures, frames, etc.

Drying times: 24 hours approx. under normal environmental conditions. We recommend, when deemed necessary, a test before proceeding to the final application. Corrosion behavior: It does not attack metals or glass. It does not cause any oxidation. Once dry, the wood can come into contact with plastics and bituminous materials

Preparation and recommendations

Before using the product, read the label or the instructions for use and follow all the instructions given. Remove paints and varnishes, by mechanical or chemical stripping. Clean old or new wood. Adequately protect plastics and bituminous materials. The application must be carried out within a defined area (indoors or outdoors under a roof). Use only indoors outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Wood treated with the biocidal product must be permanently protected from moisture and rain in the period between impregnation and installation of the treated wood.

Freshly treated wood should be stored under cover and / or on a rigid and waterproof floor to avoid direct losses to the ground or water. Any loss must be collected forits reuse or disposal.

How to use

Dilution: Should not be diluted. Shake before using.

Application tools: Brush or brush according to the fields of application. In the case of the product for application by injection, the liquid is introduced directly with the cannula into the holes made by the woodworm.

New woods: For a preventive action, apply the product with a brush until reaching the recommended dose. The primer with Xylazel Carcomas Plus and the first coat of paint can be applied in the workshop before taking the wood to the job site. The wood must be clean, dry and sanded.

Previously varnished and painted wood: After the total removal of the old layers of paint, all surfaces must be properly treated with Xylazel Carcomas Plus. For direct application by injection, connect the open end of the injection tube, which is attached to the container, to the opening of the pump button valve. Insert the other end of the injection tube (with the hollow needle) into the holes in the wood. Press the pumping mechanism 5-7 times forming a continuous and fine stream of liquid without dripping, with an approximate result of 0.4 to 0.5 mL, until the required dose is reached and clean any excess product that may be produced with a clothdried.
