Description

The gel coat ISO NEO is a gel coat based on unsaturated polyester resin isophthalic neopentyl glycol. Available in almost all colors of the RAL and NCS (unavailable colors are RAL 3024, 3026, 6037, 6038 and other fluorescent). It includes the catalyst. Its specific formula gives this gel, the following properties:

How to use

It must be removed entirely prior to use. For applications requiring the use of a solvent, adding a maximum of 10% acetone and eventually styrene.

The catalyst must be added MECK 50% and the amount of between 1.5 and 2.5%. The catalyst is included in the order.

The thickness of the applied gel coat should be approximately about 800 microns or less on the end use of the product manufactured.

Shop temperature, the gel coat and molds should be between 18 and 25 ° C, relative humidity should be less than 85%.

Gel time

The amount of catalyst and temperature determine the gel time. At 20 ° C, the gel time of the product to 100 parts of gelcoat and 2 parts catalyst is 9 to 11 minutes.
