Water-based primer. For sealing timber with substances that inhibit drying alkyd products such as exotic woods . Also avoiding the blossoming of tannins to the surface of the wood. It is very suitable for tropical and exotic woods such as teak, tali, cedar, iroko and hardwoods such as chestnut. These woods have a high content of resins and tannins, which come to the surface and create drying problems, adhesion and appearance. The sealing Xylazel Exotic Wood Primer prevents exit of said substances.

Application fields

Before application of finishing products for all kinds of wooden objects, especially exotic and tropical woods such as cedar, tali, iroko ... etc primer. Sealed timber with tannins and other substances that inhibit drying alkyd resins.

Preparation

Shake gently until homogenous primer avoiding foaming. Apply to clean, dry surfaces. Remove flaking paint and varnishes and unbonded, pickling, scraping or sanding. Clean surfaces of dirt, grease and contaminants. Apply the product undiluted.
