How to use
RECOMMENDGENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Stir well in the container by mechanical agitation. The surfaces to be painted must be dry, consistent and clean of contaminants such as oils, grease, cement laitance, efflorescence, etc. Apply only when the pavement temperature is at least 3ºC higher than the dew point temperature. A 24 hour cure will be necessary to obtain resistance to light traffic. Chemical and mechanical resistance is obtained after curing for 7 days.
UNPREPARED SURFACES:
Cement or concrete: It must be completely set (minimum 28 days) and dry or slightly wet (it allows application with a concrete humidity of less than 5.5%). Remove efflorescence or laitance from the cement with pressurized water or preferably by milling or shot-blasting. If the surface is very smooth, roughen it by milling or shot-blasting, removing the dust by vacuuming. Apply the first coat diluted 15%. Let dry a minimum of 4 hours and finish with a second undiluted coat. Ensure air circulation during application and drying. Applications made with relative humidity lower than 15% or with a lack of air circulation can result in a floor with a lower gloss. If more than 3 days pass between coats, it will be necessary to open the pore before applying the AQ PXB720 Sanitary Floor Epoxy coat for heavy traffic situations.
MAINTENANCE OF ALREADY PAINTED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITIONEITHER
Thoroughly clean all grease or oil residues using a pressurized fresh water jet or solvent. Before applying the Epoxi Suelos Sanitaria AQ PXB720, patch with it in the bare areas until reaching the level of the original thickness. Wait a minimum of 4 hours (at 23ºC) and apply two layers of this paint, leaving about 4 hours between them.
MAINTENANCE OF SURFACES ALREADY PAINTED IN POOR CONDITION
In the case of poorly adhered systems, they must be removed by scraping and/or brushing and proceed as on unprepared surfaces.
