Description

Protector for the preventive treatment of wood against bluish fungi, rotting and against wood-destroying insects of larval origin (woodworms).

Fields of application

For all types of wood, solid or plywood, old or new (soft woods such as pine) indoors under roof, where there may occasionally be high humidity and outdoors without direct contact with the ground (use classes 2 and 3) Ideal for exterior carpentry, such as windows, exterior doors, siding, eaves, fences, garages, etc.

Preparation

Remove paints and varnishes, by mechanical or chemical stripping. Clean old or new wood. Adequately protect plastics and bituminous materials. Cover the ground during application and collect any spillage. Do not apply where the product can reach surface waters. Do not apply near bodies of surface water or in protected water areas. Do not allow this productreach aquatic environments, the sewer system or the ground. Do not use indoors, except for exterior window frames and external doors. Do not apply product to wood or place wood in areas where food / feed, kitchen utensils, or food processing surfaces can come into contact with or be contaminated by the product or treated wood. Keep children away during application and drying. Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Keep treated wood outdoors or in a well-ventilated area until it has dried. Wash hands and face after application and use of the product, as well as before eating, drinking or smoking. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or mist.

How to use

New woods: The primer with Xylazel Fondo Extra and the first coat of paint can be applied in the workshop before taking the wood to the job. As in all cases, the wood must be clean, dry and sanded.

Previously varnished and painted woods: After the total removal of the old layers of paint or varnish, all surfaces must be properly treated with Xylazel Fondo Extra.
