Characteristic
Xylazel Total Plus is used as a preventive protective treatment for wood against rotting and bluing fungi, woodworms and termites in humid interiors (use class 2) and outdoors without direct contact with the ground (use class 3). Xylazel Total Plus gives an effective protection to the wood, without modifying its natural color, since as a background impregnation it penetrates into it, guaranteeing its effectiveness.

Fields of application
For all types of wood, solid or plywood, old or new (soft woods such as pine) indoors under cover, where there may occasionally be high ambient humidity and outdoors without direct contact with the ground (use classes 2 and 3) Ideal for exterior joinery such as windows, exterior doors, siding, eaves, fences, carports, etc. Target organisms: Wood-destroying fungi: Gloeophyllum trabeum, Poria placenta, Coniophora puteana. Fungi against wood bluing: Sydowia pithyophilia, Aureobasidium pullulans spp. Wood-destroying insects: Hylotrupes bajulus (larvae). Termites: Reticulitermes sp. (adults and nymphs).

24 hours approx. under normal conditions (23 ºC and 60% ambient humidity). We recommend, when deemed necessary, a test before proceeding with the final application. Corrosion behaviour: Does not attack metals or glass. Does not cause any oxidation. AOnce dry, the wood can be in contact with plastics and bituminous materials
Preparation and recommendations
Before using the product, read the label or the instructions for use and follow all the indications given. Remove paints and varnishes, by mechanical or chemical stripping. Clean old or new wood. Properly protect plastics and bituminous materials. Cover the ground during application and collect any spillage. Do not apply where the product can reach surface waters. Do not apply near bodies of surface water or in protected water areas. Do not allow this product to reach aquatic environments, the sewage system or the ground. Do not use indoors, except for exterior window frames and external doors. Do not apply product to wood or place wood in areas where food/feed, cooking utensils, or food processing surfaces may contact or be contaminated by product or treated wood. Keep children away during application and drying. Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Keep treated wood outside or in a well-ventilated area until it has dried. Wash hands and face after application and use of the product, as well as before eating, drinking or smoking. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing vapsores or mists. Keep children away during application and drying. Any loss must be collected for reuse or proper disposal. During application and drying, the temperature must be above 5ºC and the relative humidity below 80%.
How to use
New wood: The primer with Xylazel Total Plus and the first coat of paint can be given in the workshop before taking the wood to the work. As in all cases, the wood must be clean, dry and sanded.
Previously varnished and painted woods: After complete removal of old layers of paint or varnish, all surfaces must be properly treated with Xylazel Total Plus.
It can be applied on wood protected with Xylazel Total Plus most transparent or pigmented varnishes and paints. In case of doubt, we recommend testing. In case of doubt, we recommend testing. Wait 24 hours before applying finishing products. It is necessary to give a finishing layer. This layer cannot be a biocide film protector or wood preservative. The finish coat must be solid and hold.
Hermetically close the container when the product has been partially consumed. Proceed to the elimination and destruction of the container, in accordance with the legislationvalid. After use, the liquid must be removed and placed back in the original container.
Once dry, the product does not increase the flammability of the wood. The wood is effectively protected against bluing fungi, decay and against larval-type wood-destroying insects.
