How to use

General recommendations:

Stir well in the container, preferably by mechanical process. The surfaces to be painted must be properly primed, clean, dry and consistent. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes before using it to favor the elimination of air. In case of exceeding the maximum limit of repainting, to ensure the adhesion between layers, a soft sandblasting must be carried out, until conferring aslight roughness to the primed surface

Unprepared surfaces:

Steel: apply SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer, HB SXB 210 High Thickness Epoxy Primer or HB SXB 220 Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer according to specifications, respecting the repainting intervals. Galvanized: If certification according to UNE EN ISO 12944 is not required, apply directly on suitably prepared galvanized steel, eliminating salts and lightly shading the surface. If certification is required, apply SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer or HB SXB 210 High Thickness Epoxy Primer according to the selected scheme. In all cases: apply the finishing coats according to the selected scheme (see recommended thickness). Other supports: Consult.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in good condition:

If repainting on well-adhered systems, clean from grease, oil and dirt (pressurized fresh water, solvent, etc.) and then let it dry, apply one or two layers of EXB 500 Satin Multi-Surface Polyurethane Enamel as needed.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in poor condition:

In the case of poorly adhered systems, and/orIn the presence of rust, remove by abrasive blasting to the Sa2½ degree of the ISO 8501-1 standard or manual or mechanical cleaning to the ST3 degree of the same standard. Then patch with SXB 200 Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer preferably by brush and then apply enough coats of EXB 500 Satin Multi-Surface Polyurethane Enamel, according to requirements

Precautions

Before using the product, read the package instructions carefully. For more information consult the Safety Data Sheet. Store tightly closed containers away from sources of heat and temperatures below zero. Conservation: 36 months in original unopened container. Waste management: Follow local legal provisions. Help protect the environment, do not throw waste down the drain, deposit it at the nearest recycling center. Calculate the amount of product you will need and thus avoid waste and extra cost. Keep the leftover product well stored for a new use. Paint reuse can effectively minimize environmental effects on the life cycle of products.
