How to use
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
The surface must be sanded, clean, dry and free of salt (wash it). Do not varnish in full sun, nor with dew. p>
SURFACES NOT PREPARED:
Dilute the first layer with 20 - 30% of TITAN Yate Diluent. Hardwoods (Teak, Iroco, Tropical Woods, etc.) and Resinous woods (Melis, pine, etc.): a thorough washing with TITAN Yacht Diluent (to remove the resin) may be necessary. Wait 24 hours to observe possible resin exudation and delay of varnish drying. If it occurs, proceed to wash again with TITAN Yacht Diluent. Sand between layer and layer. Finish with 2 - 3 coats of Polyurethane Varnish + Acrylic TITAN Yacht as is.
MAINTENANCE OF PAINTED SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION:
Completely remove cracked or detached varnish. Sand the old varnish well adhered until shading; and apply 2 - 3 coats of Polyurethane Varnish + Acrylic TITAN Yacht as is. MAINTENANCE OF PREVIOUSLY COATED SURFACES IN POOR CONDITION: Remove the coating in poor condition until a solid wood surface is obtained by sandpaper, brush or TITAN Plus Paint Remover and proceed as on unprepared surfaces.
